I read 山楂树之恋 last night. I am a bit sleep-deprived today. Of course I cried too. Just to be sure, I checked my nerdity.
Pure Nerd 78 % Nerd, 34% Geek, 30% Dork You scored higher than 83% on nerdiness You scored higher than 50% on geekosity You scored higher than 49% on dork points
Just remembered one more sign that I am a nerd: while reading NYT article on England advancing to semi-finals, what I paid attention to was not the game itself, nor Beckham, but how Beckham bent the ball. The physics behind that kick was more appealing to me than anything else. Thus said, I am definitely less a soccer fan than a nerd.
Troubadour, I am not surprised you cried reading that story. It took me two days to get back to normal again.
